Philippines - Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach once again proved that she is “confidently beautiful with a heart.”

Wurtzbach replied to Jessy Mendiola’s recent remark, comparing herself to the current Ms Universe.
Mediola’s remark  irked netizens but not Pia.

In her official tweeter account, the beauty queen posted:

“What I saw was a girl who was just really ecstatic to be given that recognition. Nothing wrong with that. Congratulations, Jessy!”

This is in connection with  Jessy Mendiola's latest recognition being named as FHM’s Official Sexiest Pinay of 2016.

The mestiza actress landed on the 23rd place in FHM sexiest list last year and was head-to-head with Nadine Lustre during the course of the 100 sexiest poll, but overtook the latter few days before the poll was closed for voting.

“It’s not a question of ‘why her,’ but ‘why only now,” says FHM.com.ph’s managing editor, B.A. Borleo.

“This result just proves something we’ve known for quite some time now here in FHM: We all can’t get enough of Jessy Mendiola. We’ve all spent time checking up on her—the ads, the TV shows, the movies, her posts on social media. This woman is everywhere, her followers number in millions, and now they’ve managed to put their idol on top of the FHM 100 Sexiest List,” Borleo added.

The full FHM sexiest list will be released on the July 2016 issue of the men’s magazine.

Netizens were delighted to hear the news of Jessy Mendiola grabbing the title of FHM’s ‘Sexiest Woman in the Philippines.’
