Manila, Philippines - The Philippine National Police is willing to attend the Senate hearing on the series of extra-judicial killings in the country.

According to PNP Chief Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa, they will be facing the Senate with a clear conscience.

Dela Rosa added that they will answer all the queries from the Senate “cool na cool.”

The PNP official stressed that the Senate need not force them say anything because whatever they will speak of is only the truth.

The PNP is also ready to provide information needed by the Senate.

Meanwhile, the PNP Chief denied claims that vigilant groups are behind the series of extra-judicial killings against suspected illegal drugs ushers and pushers, in different parts of the country.

Dela Rosa said that based from their investigation, the killings of individuals related to illegal drugs activities are also being linked to syndicated killings.

He added that in the coming days, the PNP will issue a detailed report on the groups involved in the series of killings in the country.

PNP Chief Bato insisted that they have scientific evidence proving that syndicates are responsible in the series of killings of individuals suspected to be involved in illegal drugs activities.
