ABOUT GAMIAW BULLETIN

Gamiaw Bulletin is a Bicolano web-publishing Company aiming to provide good news, fearless commentaries through its Gamiaw Blog-Balita feeds, Editorial and ‘Yun-‘yon Opinion sections, all are developed to provide and deliver the latest news and happenings in our Society and feed all these to all its readers from all walks of life, world-wide!

‘Gamiaw’ a Bicol term which means to “awaken” and ‘instill’ the good news to its subject, has been considerately chosen as the publication’s name by its founder, Yaj Senap to strongly promote its purpose. Its meaning is synonymously equal to that of the Filipino or Tagalog term “Gising!” awakening disinterested Filipinos to voice out their concern and be involved in the Nation-building for a better, safer and competing Philippines. Thus, its main purpose is to deliver good news, useful information and fearless commentaries to awaken its readers with all the information they need to know in their day-to-day living. Gamiaw News and Current affairs team is ready to provide all these through its multi-media and social media channels.

The publication debuted on January 2008 via its free webpage at multiply.com. The publication’s battle continued as it transferred its site to the well-known webs.com. But the site always freezes Gamiaw Bulletin’s account, until its team discovered Google’s free to post blogsite where they found its first advertisers. With all the positive feedbacks from its advertisers, the team envisions to build its  own website aside from its current and active site at www.gamiawbulletin.blogsite.com.

Currently, the site is serving its readers from around the world contrary to its original purpose to only serve Bicolano readers. With its thousands of site visits every day from across the globe no wonder a lot more advertisements are being posted in this one-year-old blogsite. As of end of April 2016, the site already garnered half a million visits just in the first quarter of the year. Active visitors are primarily from the Philippines, United States, Germany, Portugal, Canada, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Hong Kong, Macau, Kuwait, Singapore, Netherlands, France, Tunisia, Romania,  Russia, Indonesia, India, Qatar, Indonesia, Iraq, France, Cambodia and just recently we are getting increased on the number of site visitors from China. (arranged according to site visits from these countries).
