Manila, Philippines - President Rodrigo Duterte finally revealed the identity of the Senator whose driver/lover collects drug money for her candidacy in the recently concluded national elections.
During a press briefing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Wednesday, as Duterte extended his condolences to the family and relatives of navy officer PO3 Darwin Espallardo, the President directly identified Sen. Leila De Lima as the Senator he mentioned during his previous speaking engagement at the 115th Police Service anniversary in Camp Crame.
Duterte mentioned that lady Senator is immoral and an adulterer because of her alleged relationship with her driver, who is married. De Lima is also a married woman.
According to the President, the lady Senator pretends to be clean but in reality, accepts dirty money.
President Duterte added that when he was still mayor of Davao City, this lady Senator continuously bashed him, linking him to the ‘Davao Death Squad’, responsible for many human rights violations in their city.
