Palace plans to release names of clean mayors, governors

Manila, Philippines - Malacanang plans to balance President Rodrigo Duterte’s “narco list” by issuing a list of clean and performing government officials.

This move comes about a week after the President named police and government officials, and members of the Judiciary allegedly involved in illegal drugs activities.

Presidential Communications Office Chief Martin Andanar said that Malacanang insisted to release the “clean and performing list” only after the narco list was made public.

Andanar added that he and Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea have discussed about giving the public a chance to praise government workers who are doing their job diligently.

Andanar said that the ‘clean and performing list’ outweighs the ‘narco list’ of the President.
