MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced the closure of some areas inTaft along Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) on Sunday dawn.
The innermost lane of Taft Avenue will be closed from 3pm until 10pm Sunday.
The road closure aims to ensure the safety of motorists while the new trains of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) are being assembled and unload.
In line with this, DOTr is advising motorists to use alternative routes to avoid being stuck in traffic.
