Manila, Philippines - Family members of the slain SAF-44 have once again filed complaint charges at the Office of the Ombudsman against former President Benigno Aquino III, former Philippine National Police Chief Allan Purisima and former SAF Commander Getulio Napenas.

According to the families of the three SAF 44 victims’ Telly Sumbilla, Helen Ramacuila and Lorna Sagonoy, PNOY and the other respondents should be made accountable to the death of their loved ones because they approved “Oplan Exodus.”

The three mothers of the victims said that because of the failed mission, 44 Special Action Force officers were killed in Mamasapano, Maguindanao.

On January 25, 2015, members of the PNP-SAF went on a mission to serve a warrant of arrest against known Malaysian terrorist Zulkifli “Marwan” Abdhir.
