Manila Philippines - Malacanang officially launched two important hotlines of the government today.
All types of complaints to different government agencies, including transactions with government officials and employees, may now dial 8888 while 911 calls will focus on police and fire assistance, and crime reports.
In the first State of the Nation address of President Rodrigo Duterte, the president said that he will shame in front of the public all corrupt, lazy, negligent, and unresponsive government officials and employees that will be receiving complaints via hotline 8888.
