Manila, Philippines - The Philippine National Police Anti-Narcotics Group will soon reveal the so-called ‘ninja cops’, involved in illegal drugs.

According to Sr. Supt. Albert Ignatius Ferro, chief of the PNP-AIDG, their agency is focused on investigating on who else among their ranks is involved in recycling confiscated shabu.

Ferro doubts that these so-called ‘ninja cops’ are part of the anti-narcotics unit.

The PNP official made the statement after President Rodrigo Duterte named the five active and retired PNP generals allegedly involved in illegal drugs activities.

Meanwhile, retired PNP Deputy Dir-Gen. Marcelo Garbo Jr. said that he will clear his name from the accusations that allegedly, he is a protector of illegal drugs syndicates.

Garbo believes that President Duterte was given the wrong information by his allies.

The retired general added that he is ready to have a one-on-one talk with the President and discuss the allegations being thrown at him.  Garbo insists that he is innocent from any alleged illegal drugs activities.
