Manila, Philippines - France emerged as the victor in the Fiba Olympic Qualifying tournament-Manila leg, held last week at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Parker contributed 26 points and four assists.
Parker is not the only NBA player who extended their playing time to their country. Hornets’ Nicolas Batum and recently traded to Utah Jazz’ Boris Diaw joined Parker for France while Canada had Cavaliers Tristan Thompson and Raptors’ Cory Joseph.
France national coach Vicent Collet said that they won because they were able to identify their mistakes during their previous games and found a way to fix them.
