Gamiaw Sports: PBA suspends Alaska Aces’ Calvin Abueva

Philippines - Alaska Aces’ player Calvin Abueva will not be seeing action on Friday’s PBA game against Talk n Text.

The PBA management has slapped Abueva with a suspension after the Alaska player’s altercation with Ginebra guard Chris Ellis.

The said altercation between the two players happened last Sunday when the Aces won over Ginebra, 109-100.

Aside from a one-day suspension, the 6-2 player is being asked to pay a Php22,000 fine.

Abueva sitting out Friday’s game is considered a big loss to Alaska as they continue their running in the on-going 2016 PBA Governor’s Cup.
