Manila, Philippines - The Supreme Court has ordered Vice President Leni Robredo to submit her reply regarding the election protest filed by Senator Bongbong Marcos Jr.
In the electoral protest filed by Marcos, the Senator insists that there was cheating involved in the Vice Presidential race, and requests for a recount.
Robredo led by as much as 260 thousand votes from Marcos as she claimed the Vice Presidential post in the recent national elections.
Meanwhile, the Vice President has issued her stand regarding the series of illegal drugs-related killings. In her statement, the Vice President said that she supports President Rodrigo Duterte’s campaign against illegal drugs. However, she is alarmed with the increasing number of drug-related killings.
Vice President Leni said that with the country’s fight against illegal drugs, she hopes that innocent lives will be spared from it.
