MANILA - Former Justice Secretary and now Senator Leila De Lima used to frequently visit convicted druglord Jaybee Sebastian inside the New Bilibid Prisons in Muntinlupa in 2013.
During Congress’ second day of hearing on the alleged illegal drug trade inside the national penitentiary, inmate Noel Martinez confirmed that he often saw De Lima visit Sebastian.
According to Martinez, there were times when Sebastian would introduce the former DOJ Secretary to different gang leaders whenever she was there for a visit.
Sebastian is the commander of the Sigue-sigue Commando inside NBP and is allegedly close to De Lima amid being behind the massive illegal drug trade inside the NBP.
