MANILA - Department of Agriculture Secretary Manny Pinol is planning on suing the Manila Standard in connection with an article they published recently.
Based on the statement of the DA Secretary, he was informed by Usec. Fred Serrano that there have been reports that he approved the formation of the Department of Fisheries.
The said article written by a certain A. Rimando is posted on Pinol’s Facebook page.
Pinol stated that he did not go to Pagadian recently and that he did not say anything that was written in the article.
The DA Secretary is planning of talking to the Managing Editor of the Standard, Jojo Robles, to ask for the removal of the writer of the said article, if not, he will be pressing charges against the publication.
