Gamiaw Sports: Coach Baldwin fires back against Turkey’s coach

Manila, Philippines - Gilas Pilipinas coach Tab Baldwin immediately slammed the comments made by the coach of Turkey, claiming that the Philippine team has no chance of winning against the powerhouse team of France.

Baldwin shrugged off comments such the PHL team is an underdog as his boys’ confidence level remain high because a lot of things can happen in Basketball.

The Philippine team is hoping that their opponents in Group B, consisting of teams from France and New Zealand will encounter upsets during their games.

Baldwin added that they have the home court advantage, with the help of the Filipino fans.
