President Duterte orders no priority for Presidential plane in airports

Manila, Philippines - The presidential plane will no longer be given special treatment in all airports in the country.

According to Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Antonio Buendia, Jr., President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered to cancel the priority landing and takeoff for the presidential plane.

The official said the idea was made aiming not to bother other flights during takeoffs and landings especially at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
