5 PHL Presidents present at National Security Council meeting

Manila, Philippines - Four past Presidents of the Philippines were in Malacanang on Wednesday afternoon to attend the National Security Council (NSC) meeting convened by President Rodrigo Duterte to iron out vital policies.

Former Presidents Fidel V. Ramos, Joseph Estrada, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and Benigno Aquino III joined Duterte and other NSC members to discuss important national issues, including the recent favorable decision of the Permanent Court of Arbitration regarding the contested islands at the West Philippine Sea.

Also present for the meeting were Vice President Leni Robredo, Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III, and House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez.
