“I'm open to it, we know we can't play football forever and we said we want, when we're done playing, we go coaching and have a lot of time. But when that comes you might not like us anymore,” said James on Tuesday.
We really want to look for more opportunities. I like to see how this showbiz thing works. I'm open to learn new things, so it's good to give it a go,” he added.
James will be hosting TV5's “YHTube,” together with his brother Phil, which will start airing on February 21. They'll be featuring funny videos from the showbiz world.
Although it's a fun show, James admitted that he and his brother had a harder time hosting the show since they'll do their spiels in Filipino.
Despite that, James enjoys doing the show and sees it as a”great opportunity.”
Aside from hosting a show with Filipino spiels, another challenge that both James and Phil have in their life is looking after their youngest sister, Keri.
“[She tells] us her boy crushes!” replied James, when asked how his sister “challenges” them.
He adds seeing his sister's interest in acting, which he and Phil supports.
“Honestly, she really wants to become an actress and she's in to watching musicals,” he relates. “So we're excited for her. Our mom and dad were so supportive to me and my brother when we wanted to become football players when we were younger. So we want to be really supportive of her and her dreams too.”
