MANILA - Two more high-profile inmates are set to testify in Congress against Senator Leila De Lima on its investigation against the alleged illegal drugs operations in the New Bilibid Prisons.
The Department of Justice previously named convicted drug lord Herbert Colangco and Noel Martinez, to testify against De Lima in the congressional inquiry.

However, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said that two other high-profile inmates are set to submit their affidavit in Congress.

Aguirre added that on the first day of the lower house’s hearing, more than 30 witnesses and resource persons are lined up to take the stand.

The DOJ Secretary said that these witnesses against De Lima will included National Bureau of Investigation Deputy Director Rafael Ragos and NBI escort Junior Ablen.

Ragos will allegedly confirm that he delivered Php5 million from the national penitentiary to De Lima when the latter was still the Secretary of the DOJ.
