WEATHER UPDATE: Super typhoon "LAWIN" now out of PAR

MANILA, Philippines -  The State Weather Bureau has lifted all Tropical Storm signal warning in its 10 PM weather bulletin update #19 and advised the public that this is going to be its final weather advisory for Super typhoon "Lawin" (Haima, its International name)as this has successfully travelled outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

However, warnings on Sea travel is still up as it still posses high risks over the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the western seaboard of Central Luzon.

390 km West Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (OUTSIDE PAR)
Coordinates:19.8°N, 117.3°E
Strength:Maximum sustained winds of up to 120 kph near the center
and gustiness of up to 150 kph
Movement:Forecast to move North Northwest at 19 kph
Forecast Positions/Outlook:
  • 24 Hour( Tomorrow evening): 815 km West Northwest of Basco, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR)(24.0°N, 115.1°E)
  • 48 Hour(Saturday evening):965 km North Northwest of Basco, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR)(28.5°N, 118.5°E)
  • 72 Hour(Sunday evening): 1,200 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR)(30.2°N, 127.0°E)
 NO TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING SIGNAL
  • With this development and unless re-entry occurs, this is the final warning for this weather disturbance.
