Manila, Philippines - The Sandiganbayan has moved the scheduled pre-trial against Senator Jinggoy Estrada on his graft and plunder case in September.
Estrada’s case is in connection with his alleged involvement in the multi-million Pork Barrel Fund scam.
The anti-graft court cancelled Monday’s pre-trial because they are not yet done marking the evidence.
In line with this, the pre-trial of Estrada and his co-accused has been moved to September 12.
This is the fourth time that the court has moved Estrada’s scheduled pre-trial.
Estrada is facing one-count of Plunder and multiple counts of graft charges after being accused of pocketing Php183.793 million, when he allegedly diverted his pork barrel to non-existent and unaccredited non-government organizations of PDAF mastermind, Janet Lim-Napoles.
