MANILA, Philippines - Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) spotted outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
It was seen south of Mindanao but not yet expected to enter PAR.
In case it will turn into a typhoon, it will be named Bising.
PAGASA said the extension of LPA will bring rains in Soccsksargen and Davao, while the northeast monsoon in Luzon and Visayas.
Cloudy skies and isolated rain showers are expected in Metro Manila, Cordillera, Cagayn Valley, CALABARZON, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, including provinces of Mindoro, Masbate, Aurora and Quezon.
