PNP reorganizes key positions

Manila, Philippines - Philippine National Police Chief (PNP) Police Director Ricardo C Marquez has approved the minor reorganization of senior officers occupying key positions in different levels of command in the PNP.

The movements were prompted by the recent retirement of several senior officials in the Command Group and Directorial Staff.

Designated to due positions effective June 1, 2016 were:

• PCSupt Ronald V Santos was reassigned as Officer-in-Charge, Deputy Director of Civil Security Group (CSG);
• PCSupt Lurimer B Detran was reassigned as Officer-in-Charge, Deputy Director of Directorate for Comptrollership (DC)
• PCSupt Elmo O Sarona was reassigned as Deputy Regional Director for Operations – NCRPO;
• PCSupt Billy B Beltran was reassigned to Officer-in-Charge of PRO – 9;
• PCSupt Pedro U Obaldo Jr. was reassigned as Deputy Director of DIPO – Sourthern Luzon;
• PSSupt Abad H Osit was reassigned as Officer-in-Charge, Executive Officer of DIPO-VIsayas;
• PSSupt Valfrie G Tabian was reassigned as Officer-in-Charge of PRO – 4A (Calabarzon);
• PSSupt Timoteo G Pacleb was reassigned as Officer-in-Charge, Deputy Regional Director for Administration of PRO – 4A (Calabarzon);
• PSSupt Charlo C Collado was reassigned as Officer-in-Charge, Deputy Regional Director for Administration of PRO – 10;
• PSSupt Ramon O Purruganan was reassigned as Officer-in-Charge, Executive Officer of Directorate for Comptrollership (DC);
• PSSupt Amando Clifton B Empiso was reassigned as Acting Regional Chief Directorial Staff of NCRPO; and
• PSSupt Dennis L Basngi was reassigned to Special Action Force (SAF)

The new designations were also recommended by the Senior Officers Procurement and Promotion Board (SOPPB). (JCA)
