EDP conducts school inspection

Manila, Philippines - The Eastern Police District has just finished conducting its inspection on all the schools in Marikina, Pasig, Mandaluyong and San Juan, to make sure that students will be safe when they go back to school on Monday.

Senior Supt. Ariel Arcinas, EPD Directoral Staff Chief said that the Intelligence Coordination with officials of the DepEd Head Office in Pasig City and teachers and principals in their area of responsibility has also been done.

According to Arcina, help desks with a police officer and barangay tanods have been strategically placed already to provide security to students and their parents on the first day of school.

Members of the Intelligence Division are also monitoring organized crime groups who are victimizing well-off students.
