The highly-anticipated fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0) and Manny Pacquiao (57-5-2) is finally happening.
The contract
has been signed and sealed by both camps, agreeing to a May 2 fight (May
3 in Manila) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mayweather
announced the megabuck fight on Friday (Saturday local time) through one
of his social media accounts. He posted what appeared to be a signed
copy of the contract.
"What the world
has been waiting for has arrived. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao on May 2,
2015, is a done deal. I promised the fans we would get this done, and we
did," Mayweather Jr announced through his Shots account.
"We will make history on May 2nd. Don't miss it. This is the signed contract from both fighters."
