MANILA - Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao is currently in a state of sadness amidst his training camp for his May 2nd bout against Floyd Mayweather.

In a report by Dyan Castillejo of ABS-CBN News, "Pacman" is mourning the passing of his maternal grandmother Cristina Dapidran, who died on February 18th at age 92. "Inay Tina" was said to be very close to Pacquiao, as she made it a point to catch his fights.

The Pacquiao family were emotional during last night's wake, as Manny himself broke into tears when he delivered his message for his late grandmother. Wife Jinkee, meanwhile, was more thankful for the moments when Inay Tina helped them through their stage as newlyweds.

Manny's fellow politicians such as General Santos City Mayor Ronnel Rivera and Manila City Vice Mayor Isko Moreno were in attendance.

Pacquiao is also slated to suit up for his PBA team KIA as they face Talk n' Text on Wednesday.
