PMA cadet dies while on training

Cavite, Philippines - A Philippine Military Academy (PMA) cadet died due to allege heat stroke while on training in Ternate, Cavite.

The victim is Fourth Class cadet John Benedict Margin of Binangonan, Rizal.

According to report, the cadet was on his way to a so-called Bivouac area of the Marine Base when he suddenly collapsed around 4:45pm on Monday.

Margin was rushed to the medical dispensary of the camp, but doctors were not able to save him.

The body of the cadet was brought to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Medical Center in Quezon City for a corresponding autopsy, although it appeared from the initial evaluation that the victim died due to heat stroke.
