BIR employees plans mass resignation?

Manila Philippines - The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) employees are allegedly planning to launch a mass resignation on July 1, 2016, the day when Rodrigo Duterte will assume the post as the 16^th president of the Philippines.

In a report, officials and employees of the agency were hurt on the statement of Duterte claiming that the BIR is one of the most corrupt government agencies in the country.

The said mass resignation is a protest against the statement of Duterte.

However, said report was immediately quashed by BIR officials.  Even BIR Commisioner Kim Henares in an interview stated that she will be stepping down from her post, only her, denying the recent reports about mass resignation from BIR employees.
