MANILA - The Amnesty International, an advocacy group believes that the extra-judicial killings related to illegal drugs operations are planned and intentional.
Based on the investigation of the said group, most of the anti-drugs operations of the Philippine National Police have the same pattern, the testimonies of the witnesses differ from that of the police.
The Amnesty International is convinced that cops have the intention of killing most of the drug suspects.
The group launched an investigation on the said issue amid the 59 cases of killings involving illegal drugs in 20 towns and municipalities from November, December 2016.
In line with this, the advocacy group has recommended for the government to change its campaign against illegal drugs.
