MANILA - Some members of the Senate praised the anti-illegal drug campaign of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in the country.
According to Sen. Vicente Sotto, the PNP should be congratulated due to the high number of arrested and killed drug personalities.
Prior to this, PNP Chief Dir. Gen. Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa confirmed during Monday’s Senate hearing that they already conducted 23, 474 drug operations.
More than 22, 387 drug suspects were arrested while 1,375 were killed for allegedly resisting arrest.
The data came from conducted operation beginning July 1 until September 30, 2016.
