MANILA - The leadership of the Senate remains mum on rumors that a certain Senator is addicted to Cocaine. According to Senate President Koko Pimentel, if the Senate will react to every rumor there is, then they will have to be accountable to everything.
This was the Senate President’s reaction after Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte said that a Senator is into Cocaine.
Pimentel said that the younger Duterte himself admitted that he has yet to find an evidence regarding the said information.
Pimentel added that if the information and allegation is serious, the public will be assured that the Senate will conduct its own probe.
Meanwhile, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is challenging the Davao City Vice Mayor to stop with all the blind items and actually reveal the name of the Senator he is referring to.
