Kyrie Irving doesn't hold grudges, sorta.
The Celtics acquired their superstar of the future in a blockbuster deal with the Cavs earlier this offseason, which sent Kyrie to Boston in return for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, and the Nets 2018 first-round pick.
Now, Kyrie has been tearing the league up all season, and was voted as an All-Star starter as a result. To go with that, he'll be playing alongside two of his former teammates in LeBron and Kevin Love after the All-Star draft.
Looks like it's gonna be like old times in Los Angeles this February.
Of course, with that the media went right into Kyrie and asked him about his relationship with his former teammates and whether or not things will be awkward in the All-Star Game.
And Kyrie's answer was perfect.
He's completely right, when you win a title like that, especially in such historic fashion, you create an amazing bond between the players on that team.
However, this relationship goes far beyond that. LeBron, Kyrie, and K-Love truly did something special together in those NBA Finals, and there's no way that that trio of players has that much animosity between them.
Did Kyrie want out of Cleveland? Of course. Was that truly only because of LeBron or K-Love? Absolutely not. These three still hold an unbreakable bond, and it'll be fun watching them play together again.
