Malacanang warns Duterte of alleged overhauling of govt agencies

Malacanang was adamant with the alleged impending move of incoming President Rodrigo Duterte to overhaul government agencies as soon as he assumes office on June 30.

According to Presidential Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr., Duterte should know first the rights of the employees who will be affected with the said “rigodon.”

Coloma added that there are some officials whose careers will be jeopardize with the said move.
The PCOO Secretary said that one option that an incoming administration can do is to do a revamp of the positions in the government.

Prior to this, President-elect Duterte announced that there will be a massive reshuffling on government agencies, including the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Land Transportation Office, Bureau of Corrections, among others.
