Marcoses: We are in talks with AFP about the burial of the late Pres. Marcos

Manila, Philippines - The Marcos family have already discussed with the Armed Forces of the Philippines the details regarding the burial of the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

The Marcoses met up with the Department of National Defense and AFP regarding the government’s plan of having the late president buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

According to Army Spokesman Col. Benjamin Hao, a representative of the Marcoses already paid a visit to the LBNB last Friday.

Col. Hao added that the family also expressed their desire on the specific area where they want the former dictator be laid to rest.

Former Senator Bongbong Marcos prefers his father to be buried before September 18.

The Marcoses are also in communications with the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office for the preparation and ceremony for the late President Marcos.
