2 alleged ‘narco mayors’ surrender to PNP Chief Dela Rosa

Manila, Philippines - The former and current mayors of Lanao Del Sur personally presented themselves to Philippine National Police Chief Dir. Gen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa on Friday.
In a press conference in Camp Crame, Gen. Dela Rosa presented to the media Maguing Lanao Del Sur mayor Mamaluan Abinal Molok and former Marantao mayor Mohammadali Abinal.  The two are allegedly involved in illegal drugs activities.

According to Gen. Dela Rosa, Molok and Abinal found out that they are included in the list of ‘narco mayors’, and decided that it would be best for the two of them to surrender.

The PNP chief insisted that they are sure that Molok and Abinal are the ‘dowline’ of ‘Marimar’, or former Lanao del Sur mayor Johaira Macabuat.

Dela Rosa mentioned that the two drug personalities will be detained at the PNP-CIDG.

Meanwhile, former mayor Abinal and mayor Molok expressed their support on the campaign against illegal drugs of President Rodrigo Duterte.
